Vanguard Super reduces fees to bolster long term retirement outcomes for members
MELBOURNE, 1 May 2024: Vanguard Super today announced it will help to boost members superannuation balances over time by lowering its annual administration fees.
Following a strong first year of performance and growth for the Fund, the administration fee across all Vanguard Super products will be reduced as follows:
- the annual administration fee will reduce from 0.35% to 0.33%; and
- the administration fee cap will be lowered from $850,000 to $300,000.
These changes mean that, for most Vanguard Super investment options, the yearly fee (the sum of administration, investment and transaction fees and costs) reduces to 0.56% p.a., while for the portion of a member’s balance above $300,000, the yearly fee reduces to 0.28% p.a.
This change will result in Vanguard Super’s default Lifecycle product being one of the lowest cost options for Australians across a range of ages and superannuation balances, and more than 30% lower cost than the industry average.
